WHAT IS WEEKNUM FUNCTION IN MICROSOFT EXCEL?
In Microsoft Excel, WEEKNUM function returns the week number of a specific date, return value is integer, and it is between 1 to 54 (depends on return type selection). For example, the week containing January 1 is the first week of the year, and returned as 1.
SYNTAX OF WEEKNUM FUNCTION
WEEKNUM function has 2 functional arguments
— serial_number in this function is required argument and it should be date value.
— return type is optional argument and it is prepopulated built-in list. We can select this argument depends on our requirement

- We can use WEEKNUM function to return any date week number for calculations.
